Around this time last year, I'd watch Shaant's acoustic with Jeff and Fred on youtube on repeat. The "Sweet Talk 101," "Fourth Drink Instinct," and "gasps, sighs one more, I can't remember but I promise I'm a fan".

I would watch those on repeat. Hmm, what else would I be doing last time this time of year. I would watch the gym class heroe's videos on, on that one site of their's. Too bad Shaant doesn't have one of those, but it's cute that he doesn't have one. that's good. uh...oh, and I'd look at Shaant pictures on buzznet. I haven't done that in a while. I'll do that if I get too bored.

But yeah, Shaant, and them, those acoustics were fun to watch. :) you're fun to watch.

I watched the acoustic rotation dvd on repeat for a week straight when that came out. I'm not obsessive, it's just that he's personally singing to me.

So, I went to Borders today to purchase "the Tao of Pooh" for my mom to give to a friend so that she'd be "cool" 8/. sighs. That book is located near, the Islam religions. So, the name "Rumi" means "destination of heart" in the Islam relgion -- really? :D wow :). cool name :). :D. The author of the book was named Ayaaan. -- kind of like Shaaaant.

so back to the DVR business.

There's this guy. his name is something like Jonathan Ziffer or something (I'd look it up but this is the only site on which my computer isnt slow) so the guy. he wrote a book about the future of the Internet--its called---I forgot :D

Anywho while making his argument, as support, he touches up on where technology is headed as well. so his claim: the Internet might become more restrictive (what we are using; web 2.0 would be less restrictive in comparison) in the future he supports by citing current trends in technology. he says because modern devices are moving away from generative technology and back to where technology/internet had started,sterile technology, the internet will be following the same trend

and like dvr is an example of what the guy was citing as his support; a modern convenience that is "sterile"
other examples would be iPods, iPhones just mobile phones in general..etc

now that I've come to think of it.
I dont like how restrictive sterile technology is :D
it gets annoying!

and the guy is predicting that the internet will be moving back to being sterile; where you dont have a search bar anymore, and you're offered a menu of things to choose from( one similar to menu screen on your cell phone) to aid you in using the internet... so you'll be able to do less.

also he says thats how computers had been when they were first introduced; like when you turned it on, it'd bring you to the main screen which was like a menu and you went from there. . sterile = simple.

:) sure you're using technolgy-words, but you could relate that again to what I was saying -- buying people online :*). Like if you're single, its easier to buy people online because it'd be like a menu you wouldn't have to search out people in real people world, which is harder. So, relation -- here -- people become sterile because they have the option of living online. What the author was saying about sterile going back to sterile, the internet is making people sterile -- that's awful, instead of thinking that technology is progress, it should generate people. It doesn't.
